Imelda

I found the documentary on Imelda's life as something very interesting. The way her life as first lady is depicted and viewed were great. It was an all around view, showing the sides of both pro-Marcos and anti-Marcos. Although I believe that her actions are genuine, politics can never be removed when dealing with the deeds done in the past especially by someone in power. I think that some people are extremely biased both against and for what Imelda has done. Although the main topic is Imelda, since she is the wife the former President-turned-Dictator, the people who do not easily forget take it out on her by bashing what she has done. I think that since a coin always has two sides, there are always instances were some people only are on one side of the coin and not see the whole picture.
